Southern California vacation rental prices swing dramatically by season. Here's what to know.

Spring (Mar–May)

Desert Peak Season

Joshua Tree, Palm Springs, and the Coachella Valley are at their best — and busiest. Festival weekends in April sell out months ahead. Book 3–4 months out for April; 8–12 weeks otherwise.

Summer (Jun–Aug)

City & Wine Country

Desert temperatures soar, so summer value shifts to Temecula evenings and Los Angeles. Desert pool homes often drop prices significantly — a deal if you plan around the heat.

Fall (Sep–Nov)

Best Value Window

Our favourite time to travel SoCal. Temecula harvest season is magical, desert temperatures come back down, and prices drop from their spring peaks.
